In meditation sessions, sit with the intention not to meditate,
in fact, not to do anything:
there is no need to do anything, awareness happens anyway
doing anything at all maintains the deception which causes suffering.
Try this exercise: sit for 10 minutes and do nothing.
What happens? Did you do any of the things that happened? Thinking, hearing, seeing…?
Now answer this question: What is the difference between doing nothing and doing something?
What am I really? Awareness happening: undivided.
This would be a good epitaph… even better to live in this realisation.

Thank you Five, very joyous reading this lovely piece of poetic advice.

Not to say, of course, that it is easy!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! It becomes easier when we really see how there is no point in doing anything else. We need to be convinced.
